Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AccoClariT Inc. handles personal information collected through accoclarit.com and its consultation form.
Effective date: October 1, 2026
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
AccoClariT Inc. (“AccoClariT,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates accoclarit.com (the “Website”). This policy applies to personal information collected when you visit the Website, submit the consultation form, or contact us using the details published on the Website.
Our Client Login link leads to a separate third-party service. Information you provide there is governed by that service’s privacy terms and by any applicable client agreement with AccoClariT.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
The consultation form requires your name, email address, and phone number. You may also choose to provide your company name, year founded, industry, approximate annual sales, number of employees, and a message describing what you would like to discuss.
Please do not submit banking information, passwords, government identification numbers, tax documents, or other sensitive financial records through the public consultation form.
Essential technical information
Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the Website, such as an IP address, browser information, request date and time, and security or server logs. We do not use this information for advertising or behavioural profiling.
3. Why we use this information
- To respond to your inquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To understand your business needs and prepare for the conversation you requested.
- To communicate with you about your request.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent misuse of the Website and form.
- To meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights where necessary.
We do not use Website inquiries for newsletters or promotional email unless you separately request or consent to those communications.
4. Essential cookies
The Website currently uses only cookies and similar technical functions that are necessary to deliver, secure, and operate the Website and its forms. These may support security, fraud prevention, load balancing, or session functionality.
We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site behavioural tracking. Because no non-essential cookies are active, the Website does not display a cookie-consent banner. If this changes, we will update this policy and introduce an appropriate consent mechanism before activating non-essential technologies.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. Access is limited to authorized AccoClariT team members who need the information to handle your request.
We may use service providers for website hosting, security, and email delivery. They may process information only as needed to provide those services and are expected to protect it appropriately. We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law, or when necessary to protect the Website, AccoClariT, or others from fraud, misuse, or security threats.
6. Processing outside Québec
Some hosting, security, or email providers may process information outside Québec or Canada. Information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to that jurisdiction’s laws. We take reasonable steps to assess and protect information handled by service providers.
7. Retention
The Website does not store a separate WordPress database copy of consultation-form submissions. A submission is sent to AccoClariT by email.
We retain inquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, follow up, manage a resulting business relationship, meet legal obligations, or resolve a dispute. When it is no longer required, we delete, destroy, or anonymize it using measures appropriate to its sensitivity.
8. How we protect information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information, including encrypted website connections, access controls, and reputable hosting and email services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent to a use or disclosure, request deletion or de-indexing where applicable, or ask about how your information is handled and retained. You may also make a privacy complaint.
To exercise a right, contact our Privacy Officer using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
10. Children and external websites
The Website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. It may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control those services and encourage you to review their privacy information before providing personal information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, service providers, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date. We will provide additional notice when a change is significant and notice is required.
